Virginia Gutiérrez
Graduated as a Technician in Tourism Companies and Activities and with a Master’s in Marketing and Sales Management from the School of Senior Management and Administration (EADA) in Barcelona, she began her professional career as Sales Manager at Derby Hotels Collection (the group owns renowned establishments such as Hotel Claris in Barcelona and the Urban in Madrid, among others).
In 1998, she accepted the challenge of expanding the Design Hotels brand in Spain and Portugal, becoming Director of Business Development for southern Europe. In 2003, she took a significant step by establishing her own company, IMS Consulting.
Through this venture, she shares her extensive experience and commercial insights with clients in the luxury tourism industry and its diverse spheres of influence: travel, design, gastronomy, beauty, well-being, and trends.

Mónica Homedes
With over 30 years of experience in the luxury hotel industry, she has excelled in various capacities, ranging from operations and sales to marketing, public relations, and communication.
Most recently, she held the position of Director of Communication at Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona, for a decade. In this role, she developed intricate communication strategies and managed relationships with the global media. Prior to this, she established her own communication agency catering to luxury hotels worldwide.
Her rich expertise also includes key positions as Sales & Conference Manager at Hotel Arts Barcelona and as General Manager and Director of Sales and Marketing at Gran Hotel La Florida. This extensive journey has equipped her with a profound global perspective and a substantial network of professional connections.
